The Jupiter is the success story of TVS in the scooter segment for the TVS. Now, TVS has launched a new top-spec version as Jupiter Grande this festive season. Last year, TVS has introduced the Jupiter classic and now the Jupiter Grande will be holding the flagship scooter charge in TVS family. The Grande is likely to take on the likes Honda Activa 5G, Hero Maestro EDGE and the Yamaha Alpha.
Jupiter Grande Styling.
In terms of styling, the design is similar to the Jupiter. The Jupiter Grande is offered in a Starlight blue colour and a new seat pattern in maroon colour. Furthermore, it also gets a Grande badging on the side panels and a new beige colour for the inner panels. It also gets LED headlamp, chromed mirrors. In addition, it also gets new diamond cut alloy wheels and independently adjustable shock absorbers.
The digital-analog cluster unit is going to figure out trip meter, clock and fuel level. It also has low fuel warning along with the Eco and Power mode LEDs.
Jupiter Grande Rideability.
Since it is a special edition, it will not feature any mechanical changes. The power train will be the same 109.7 cc single cylinder petrol engine which churns out 8HP and 8Nm of max torque. Mating of the motor is made with a CVT gearbox for smooth rides. The work of smooth ride will be handled by 30 mm front forks and a gas charged rear monoshock suspension setup. Also, the combined braking system is on offer to descend it rapidly.
Jupiter Grande Pricing.
The pricing is going to be expensive than the ZX version. For the Grande, the drum brake version will hold a price tag of 55,936 Rs. And the one offered with disc brake has price label of 59,646 Rs. (All prices are Ex-showroom Delhi.)
