KTM India launches the ABS version of its well-known bike the Duke 200. Currently the Duke 200 is the entry level bike in the KTM family and also a popular one. Being launched with ABS, the normal Duke 200 will also be on sale at 1.51 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The ABS version of the Duke will cost 1.6 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The Duke 200 is on of the affordable bike, until the launch of the KTM Duke 125.
Commenting on the introduction of the KTM Duke 200 ABS India, Amit Nandi, President at Bajaj Auto said, “With the addition of ABS our customers will now have choice of both ABS and non-ABS versions on the KTM 200 Duke.”
KTM Duke 200 ABS India Styling.
Famous for its unique and rugged styling, KTM bikes always stand out glancing on the roads. The Duke 200 ABS will be similar to the non ABS version in terms of styling. The KTM Duke 200 ABS will be available in 3 colours Orange, White and Black.
KTM Duke 200 ABS India Equipment.
Features on offer will be similar with the advanced speedo console and the KTM and Duke 200 graphics. Suspension duty will be handled by 43 mm up side down WP forks at the front and a mono shock suspension at the rear. Foe braking it will be equipped with 300 mm front discs and 230 mm rear discs and the Bosch sourced dual-channel ABS unit, which was offered in previous KTM Duke 390.
KTM Duke 200 ABS India Engine.
The Duke 200 ABS continues to come with the same 195.55 cc single cylinder, 4-valve and liquid cooled unit. It produces the same 25 HP at 10000 rpm and 19.2 Nm of Torque at 8000 rpm. This motor will also mate with 6-speed manual gearbox as previous. Underpinning the KTM Duke 200 India will be trellis-frame chassis.
