Nexon NCAP overview.
The Indian auto manufacturer Tata Motors have recently launched a unique product well known as Nexon. It is around a year now and it has come across the Global NCAP test. The results made it get 4-stars for the adult occupant and 3-stars for the child occupant. The body shell of the Nexon is announced to be stable. Whereas, the test was carried out at 64 kmph at ADAC test lab in Munich, Germany.
Mayank Pareek, President of Tata motors Passenger vehicles said, “With this test results, Nexon is India’s safest sub compact SUV, after being most awarded models from the Tata Motors. It is a proud moment for all our Nexon customers today. Our journey to offer best quality products continues.”
Rohit Baluja, president of Institute of Road Traffic Education said, “I wish to congratulate Tata Motors on this very good result. It shows that ‘Made in India’ and high levels of safety go together well. With excellent efforts like this from Tata and new crash test standards now applied by the Indian Government, we are going to see a steady improvement in safety of new cars across the country and this will help to make our roads safer.”
In the previous year, the Tata Zest have also received a 4-star rating in November 2016.
Tata offers best in class build quality for the Nexon, with a well balnced structure. It also offers dual airbags, ABS and EBS standard across all variants. It also gets packed with seat belts pre-tensioners ISOFIX child seat. The body shell also proved its sustainability.
Nexon NCAP results.
The Nexon offers good protection for the head and neck of both driver and passenger and adequate guarding for their chest. The structure of the car has maintained to stand well. The tests displays rearward facing CRS installed offering good protection upto 18 months child. The front facing seat has good protection for head and moderate for the chest. The A-pillar also retained its structure, which endure absolutely a creditable thing.
