Toyota Kirloskar Motor has sold a total of 11,760 units in the domestic market in the month of February 2019. The company also exported 737 units of the Etios series this month thus clocking a total of 12,497 units. As compared to February 2018, TKM sold 11,864 units in domestic market and around 841 units of Etios series were exported.
Commenting on the sales performance, Mr. N. Raja, Deputy Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, “We have seen improvement in consumer sentiments as compared to last month leading to a growth in demand. However, the auto sales is witnessing a temporary slowdown in pre- election phase in addition to factors like tight liquidity condition impacting the buying behavior.
The Innova Crysta continues to maintain the strong growth in sales compared to last year.
The all new Toyota Camry Hybrid Electric Vehicle has also received enormous response from the Indian buyers. Toyota Kirloskar motors have received more than 400 bookings already and sold around 130 units since the Camry Hybrid launch on 18th January 2018. In addition, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has decided to reduce the waiting period for customer and is happy for the environment friendly decision taken by the customers.
